2026 ASK Grant

Deadline to apply is Friday, March 20, 2026

LCRPC plans to award up to five (5) ASK Grants this spring for a municipal and/or community project in need of specific technical assistance, such as preliminary engineering/design, economic research, architectural or environmental planning, intergenerational community building, etc. that will help solve a municipal issue or complete an important town project. Towns are encouraged to work with other towns on a joint project, should this be an effective and practical approach to a common issue.

The funding priorities are similar to those from previous ASK opportunities:
A town public infrastructure or facility.
Business attraction or retention.
Local health and safety issues, including age-friendly/intergenerational community building.

Please refer to the program statement for additional criteria, application requirements, and the application form. Towns who received an ASK Grant in previous years are eligible to apply if the previous grant is complete and final project reports have been submitted by the March 20, 2026 deadline.

The award amount for 2026 ranges from a minimum of $250 up to a maximum of $5,000.
