Surveys are closed for the Newcastle Damariscotta Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan
The Towns of Newcastle and Damariscotta, with the assistance of the Lincoln County Regional Planning Commission and the Maine Department of Transportation, are developing a bicycle and pedestrian plan for the two communities. In order to solicit as much input as possible from the public, all area residents and visitors are invited to complete one of two bike-ped surveys – a student survey for those attending Lincoln Academy, the Great Salt Bay Community School or the Nobleboro Central School and a community survey for all others. Paper copies of the surveys will be distributed to the schools and will be available at the town offices, YMCA and the Skidompha Public Library.
